Ambassadors and senior diplomats from over 30 countries thanked China for introducing the actual situation in Xinjiang during an online briefing. The Xinjiang-related briefing was held on June 23 by China's Permanent Mission to the UN Office at Geneva and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Under the theme of "Living a happy life is the primary human right", these diplomats called on the international community to jointly oppose western countries' attempts to interfere in China's internal affairs under the pretext of Xinjiang-related issues.
