At Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in west China, there is a couple both working at key sections for launch missions. For them, exploring space is a beautiful dream and they have to start from small things in everyday work.

SUN HUI Engineer "We work in different systems. I am responsible for the electrical measurement and my wife oversees the power system. These are two relatively key systems for rocket testing done step by step from the operator."

LI MIAOMIAO Engineer "I became the commander of our system last year. And I found there are big differences between the post and the operator. Now, there are many detail that I must pay a great deal of attention to and need to coordinate with many other systems."

SUN HUI Engineer "I first participated in the manned space mission in 2013 as an operator. My commander told me it is different from the satellite mission because we need to send astronauts into space safely and we need to be careful with everything even a plug or a cable."

LI MIAOMIAO Engineer "Once I got into this working condition, I feel a bit excited while I remind myself to be strict, cautious and careful with work because our attitude is closely related with the safety of astronauts and the manned missions."

SUN HUI Engineer "We sometimes work until very late. For example, we might leave home before our child is awake and get home when he is already in sleep. At this moment, we would feel a bit pity."

LI MIAOMIAO Engineer "Today, I changed into casual dress and take my kid to a rehearsal for a show on children's day. Before the performance, we prepared some gifts for him, and he was very happy."

SUN HUI Engineer "The period of every launch is becoming shorter, and we will continue to optimize it. Our work is becoming more intensive, which means we have less time to rest. However, when we see the development of the space missions, we are very happy."
