Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he held a phone talk with Josep Borrell, the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, and agreed on the need for the seventh EU sanctions package on Russia.

In a tweet on Saturday, Kuleba said, "we are working on it."

He said they also discussed further steps after Ukraine became an EU candidate country and coordinated positions ahead of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting.
