The China Construction (South Pacific) Development Co Pet Ltd, has been operated in Singapore since 1992, and is a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), a leading global engineering and investment group, with award-winning contributions to healthcare, education, infrastructure as well as public housing.

CGTN was invited to visit China Construction (South Pacific) Development's projects in Singapore, Alkaff CourtView, and Alkaff LakeView in the Bidadari estate. The two built-to-order developments comprise over 1,700 units, and each unit is designed to allow residents greater flexibility in configuring their home layouts.

After three decades in Singapore, China Construction (South Pacific) Development has built strong ties with authorities and businesses in the region. The company, therefore, considers itself to be in a prime position to champion China's Belt and Road initiative.
