China's Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong won the mixed doubles title at the Malaysia Open on Sunday, clinching their fifth straight title this season.

World No. 1 Zheng and Huang maintained a 9-2 winning record against their opponents, Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai from Thailand, going into the final, in which they took a 2-0 victory.

The Chinese pair had an easy 21-13 win in the first set, but had to resist the Thai pair's tough comeback in the second set to seal the deal at 21-16.

Shortly after, China's Zhang Shuxian and Zheng Yu won the silver medal in the women's doubles final, losing to Apriyani Rahayu and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti from Indonesia 2-1.
