Sixian County in East China's Anhui Province reported 234 positive COVID-19 infections on Sunday, including 20 confirmed cases, local health authorities told a news conference on Sunday.

The county has registered 798 positive COVID-19 infections as of 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the latest outbreak, including 123 confirmed cases.

A sixth round of mass screening is underway.
