Villagers in northwestern Chinese region earn better incomes after relocation from impoverished areas

In 2018, more than 14,000 people in three impoverished towns in Kashgar, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, bid farewell to destitute lives as part of China's efforts to lift over 750 million people out of absolute poverty by 2020. We take you to Yecheng County in Kashgar to find out how these residents are thriving.
