Architecture is not only a witness to history, it also tells stories. Since its establishment 40 years ago, and in particular, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012, China State Construction (CSCEC) has been striving for market development and actively following the "Belt and Road" initiative, undertaking a large number of landmark overseas projects along the way.

CSCEC and CGTN have jointly produced and launched the "Building Lives" series featuring overseas key projects, telling the stories of 15 key projects and the people behind them, showcasing China's efforts in promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road initiative and builds a community with a shared future for mankind.
