The northeastern city of Sylhet in Bangladesh has been hit by floods, displacing hundreds of thousands of people. Authorities say more than 100 people have died since the floods hit in mid-May. Sylhet remains partially submerged. Thousands of families continue to live in temporary shelters. Many have lost their cattle and other belongings. The Red Cross says more than 7 million people in Bangladesh are in urgent need of shelter and emergency relief.
