At least 15 civilians have been killed in an attack by suspected jihadists in northwestern Burkina Faso, AFP reported, quoting sources on Monday.

The raid happened on Sunday night in the village of Bourasso in Kossi province, a security official said, adding there were "about 15 dead," including children, while a source in the area put the death toll at around 20.
