Chaba, the third typhoon of the year, made landfall in south China's Guangdong Province on July 2 and is moving deeper inland. It may bring strong winds and heavy downpours to the regions along the way, including parts of Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces. Weather warnings for rainstorms in some cities have been issued by China's National Meteorological Center.
