Heavy rain caused by typhoon floods some provinces in China
00:56

As Typhoon Chaba moved onshore and north, heavy rain continued to batter regions across China, causing floods and traffic disruptions. The water level in central China's Yongzhou City has been rapidly rising, submerging more than 350 hectares of farmland, orchards and low-lying houses along both sides of the river. Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to last till July 7. In east China's Shandong Province, several cities have also been inundated with heavy rainfall, causing serious flooding in low-lying roads in urban areas.
