Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday met the Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and other senior officials in the Philippines. Wang said China is ready to work with the new Philippine administration. He also called for stronger ties to resolve disputes. Wang Yi is the first top diplomat received by Marcos Jr., who was sworn in last Thursday.
