A ceremony was held at the Museum of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression on July 7 to commemorate the July 7 Incident, the day when the Japanese army launched an assault on Lugou Bridge. Representatives of veteran soldiers and relatives of martyrs were invited to attend the ceremony. The July 7 Incident marks the start of Japan's full-scale invasion of China and China's whole-nation resistance against the invaders.
