Karen Carney, Football and Social Responsibility director at FIFA Michele Uva and former England international, on Tuesday spoke at the kick-off event for the Women's European Championship in Manchester as they prepare to launch their new respect campaign that looks at tackling online abuse.

Carney spoke about her passion to make a difference to people suffering with online abuse. "I'm a bit anxious about talking about it, just because of every time you have to talk about it, it brings up scars."
