Former Counter-terrorism Policing Chief Mark Rowley was appointed as the new commissioner of the UK Metropolitan Police on Friday, the Guardian reported.
The last commissioner, Cressida Dick, resigned in February after clashing with London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
