The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka on Saturday urged Chinese institutions and personnel in Sri Lanka to strengthen security precautions, given that many people have been injured during protests in the country.

The embassy also reminded Chinese citizens in Sri Lanka to pay close attention to the local security situation and maintain communication with the embassy.
