Four people were killed during a shootout in a bar in Pietermaritzburg, in eastern South Africa, police said on Sunday.
The shooting took place towards 08:30 p.m. local time and left eight others injured, local police spokesman Nqobile Gwala said.
Earlier on Sunday, police said 14 people died in a shootout overnight in Soweto, a township in Johannesburg.
