There are 11 names in the running now to succeed Boris Johnson as the new British prime minister and leader of the ruling Conservative Party. The candidates come from almost every ideological wing of the party. Many of the contenders are putting tax-cutting at the heart of their campaigns. Foreign Minister Liz Truss said she will cut taxes from day one in office, while health and social care officials Jeremy Hunt and Sajid Javid promised to reduce corporation tax. The party's parliamentary body will meet to draw up the rules for the leadership contest. Michael Voss has more from London.
