The 54th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) competition kicked off online on Sunday at Nankai University in north China's Tianjin Municipality, with the participation of 326 contestants from 84 countries and regions. Scheduled to run for nine days until July 18, the 54th IChO is expected to see the contestants roll out wonderful performances of wisdom and knowledge in virtual venues.
