Strong wind and hail destroy crops in N China's Shanxi Province

Parts of Shouyang County in Shanxi's Jinzhong City saw strong wind and heavy hail on Saturday. The extreme weather damaged more than 5,300 hectares of crop and 34 hectares of greenhouses in 18 villages. While corn fields were the hardest hit, some trees and electricity facilities have been blown down. No casualties have been reported.
