A beer festival kicked off in Linfen City, north China's Shanxi Province, on July 3 after a similar festival opened in Yuncheng City on June 26. The events are among a series of beer festivals jointly launched by the provincial and municipal officials across Shanxi to boost night-time economy and stimulate consumption.
