China's foreign trade of goods rose 9.4 percent year on year to nearly $3 trillion during the first half of 2022. Zhou Mi, a senior research fellow at the Academy of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, says that China has been working to boost market confidence, but uncertainties still exist from trade to finance.
