At least three people have been killed and 15 others are missing after flash floods triggered by heavy rains swept through Pingwu County in Mianyang City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, early Tuesday, local authorities said on Thursday.

As of Thursday noon, about 150 people trapped have been rescued and over 700 people have been moved to safety.
