China's first-half fiscal revenue reached 10.52 trillion yuan ($1.56 trillion), an increase of 3.3 percent after deducting the factors of tax rebates, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

"Due to the accelerated implementation of a package of measures to stabilize the economy, fiscal revenue generally stabilized and rebounded in June. The fiscal revenue rose 5.3 percent year on year in June," Xue Xiaoqian, an official of the ministry, said at a briefing.

Fiscal spending in the first six months increased by 5.9 percent from a year earlier, settling at 12.89 trillion yuan. The ministry said spending in key areas such as people's well-being and livelihood is effectively guaranteed.
