Inflation keeps accelerating in Sweden as the CPIF (Consumer Price Index with fixed interest rate) rose by 8.5 percent year-on-year in June, according to statistics released on Thursday.

Data gathered by Statistics Sweden have for months confirmed that the country has been hit by the highest inflation in more than three decades, and now the June inflation figure surpassed those of previous months - 7.2 percent in May and 6.4 percent in April.
