Fuel shortages triggered protests in Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince. Protesters burned tires and blocked streets, even as the country's main fuel terminal renewed deliveries that had been halted due to an outbreak of gang violence. The terminal said that it had resumed unloading imported fuel from a vessel since July 13. Rights groups said 89 people have been killed since a gang war erupted last week, which left an entire neighborhood trapped without access to food or water.
