Sri Lanka receives 1,000 tonnes of rice donated by China

One thousand tonnes of rice donated by China as emergency food aid was handed over to the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka on Friday. The food is destined for 7,900 schools and will support the country's school meal program to provide daily nutritious meals to 1.1 million children.
