15-time major winner Tiger Woods admitted he didn't “know if I'll be physically able to play” when the next Open comes round to St Andrews.
The 46-year old, who has won the Open twice here in 2000 and 2005, spoke with emotion about the ovation from the crowd going down the 18th, and how he now knew how “Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer had felt” when they played their last Opens at St Andrews.
Woods shot a second round 75 to add to his 78, leaving him at 9-under par and a missed cut.
