U.S. President Joe Biden has met with the Saudi king and crown prince in Jeddah, in an effort to reset ties between the two countries. The U.S. and Saudi Arabia on July 15 made several announcements on peacekeeping, science and technology. The U.S. has also welcomed previously announced accelerated oil production increases by OPEC plus, a group that includes Saudi Arabia and Russia.
