Chinese President Xi Jinping called for developing northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region into a united, harmonious, prosperous and culturally advanced region, with healthy ecosystems and residents living and working in contentment. He made the remarks during his inspection tour between Tuesday and Friday.
