Brazil overturned Serbia 3-1 while Italy swept hosts Türkiye 3-0 on Saturday to set up the 2022 Women's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) final.
Team Brazil, silver medalists of the previous two editions, were overwhelmed in the first set but finally celebrated a 3-1 (14-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-19) victory over reigning world champions Serbia.
Brazilian Kisy Nascimento scored a game-high 19 points, followed by Serbian captain Ana Bjelica with 17.
Italy later took three straight sets from Türkiye 25-18, 28-26, 25-22 to enter the final.
Italian star Paola Egonu showed her scoring prowess contributing a match-high 26 points, including three kill blocks and an awesome ace. Ebrar Karakurt was Türkiye's best scorer with 14 points.
