Bumper Harvest: North China's Shanxi reaps 2.45 million tonnes of summer grain

China's National Bureau of Statistics says despite the autumn flood last year, Shanxi Province has reaped a total of 2.45 million tonnes of summer grain with a 0.74 percent year on year growth. The bureau attributes the higher summer grain harvest to favorable weather conditions and the promotion of high-quality seeds and farmlands.
