President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced Sunday on his personal Twitter account the creation of a national fund to support the space sector with a capital of 3 billion UAE dirham (about $817 million) and the launch of "Serb," a national program to develop modern radar satellites.
