Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, visited Xincheng Ximen Village in Turpan City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Thursday. Xi inspected the local Communist Party service center, an agricultural product factory and other places. Villagers say they were deeply moved by President Xi's great concerns about their lives, which have seen tremendous improvements in multiple aspects over the years, including in the economy, employment and health care.
