Chinese authorities briefed the media Monday on the progress and the effects of the legal supervision of people's procuratorates in the past decade. Procuratorial organs across China have filed over 670,000 public interest litigation cases during the past five years, Hu Weilie, senior prosecutor with the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), said at the press conference.
