Temperatures are reaching record highs in many parts of the world. Dr. Muhammad Irfan Khan, a professor of Environmental Science and the dean of Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences at International Islamic University in Islamabad, says the countries need to reduce fossil fuel use substantially, improve energy efficiency and increase the use of alternative fuels amid the climate change crisis.
