The Ukrainian soldiers were hardly holding back the offensive in the Soledar direction in the Donbas region, as pro-Russia forces were simultaneously advancing from several directions, Russia's RIA News Agency reported on Tuesday, citing the Luhansk military.

Earlier, the official representative of pro-Russia forces said they were entrenched 2.5 kilometers from Soledar and advancing towards the city.
