China and the EU have agreed to make joint efforts to promote practical cooperation in the economy and trade, and to jointly cope with the challenges facing the global economy. Shi Jiao, assistant professor at the HSBC Business School of Peking University based in Shenzhen, said that cooperation of China and the EU enhances global confidence as the world economy is experiencing a very fragile time.
