A series of programs based on China's new ideas, journey, and era, produced by China Media Group (CMG), is slated to be released in the following months to greet the convocation of the 20th national congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) later this year, CMG announced on Wednesday at a release ceremony in Beijing. 

Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, Mo Gaoyi, head of the Communication Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Wang Xiaozhen, vice president of CMG, attended the ceremony.

CMG unveiled five of its major upcoming original programs, two documentary series, two Large-scale cultural programs, and one feature program, which will bring to the screen true stories about the constrction of Hainan's free-trade port, intangible cultural heritage protection, development of the Greater Bay Area, efforts and results in environment protecion, and substantial living standards improvement of people living in rural areas since the 18th CPC National Congress.

"CMG will continue to eulogize Chinese spirit, Chinese wisdom, and Chinese power, create a rich atmosphere with high-quality works, and greet the successful convocation of the 20th national congress of the CPC," Wang Xiaozhen said while delivering a speech during the ceremony.
