The Russian, Turkish and Iranian presidents – Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ebrahim Raisi – held a summit on Tuesday in Tehran as the guarantors of the Astana Process for Syria. They discussed the ongoing conflict in Syria and issued a joint statement to reiterate their opposition to illegal U.S. seizures of Syrian oil. They vowed to continue their cooperation to eliminate terrorists and maintain regional security.
