Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with President of the European Council Charles Michel, the Ukrainian president's office said on Wednesday.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine needs more modern heavy weapons after they discussed the situation at the front in Ukraine. The two leaders also discussed the holding of the 24th Ukraine-EU Summit this year.
