Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says the military operation in Ukraine is now beyond the eastern Donbas region, as Russian forces shelled the country's east and south. Lavrov also said holding peace talks made no sense now, saying that Kyiv showed no desire to discuss anything in earnest. However, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia rejected diplomacy and wanted "blood, not talks".
