Türkiye has denied responsibility for a bombardment on a resort in Iraq's semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan. In its statement, the Turkish foreign ministry called the bombardment on Duhok Province, which killed nine tourists and injured 23 others, "a terror act." Meanwhile in Baghdad, dozens of Iraqis clashed with police outside the Turkish embassy in protest. The top UN envoy to Iraq condemned the attack and called for an investigation.
