Several kingfishers were spotted foraging and resting at the Summer Palace in Beijing on Friday.The kingfisher is a family of brightly colored birds that are found around the world. They are quite skilled in catching fish. Their unique iris structure makes them capable of binocular vision and they can accurately track their prey without moving their heads. The long and dagger-like bill also comes in handy when catching a fish.
