Sandy beaches and turquoise sea are holiday staples in Hainan. But a few times a year, hundreds of thousands of people flock to the island for one spectacle: rocket blasting off to space from the Wenchang Launch Site. China's fourth and southernmost space launch site has given a boost to local tourism since it was put into use in 2016. The local tourism and cultural bureau has put together an outdoor concert and glamping event, and about 5,000 visitors are expected to attend as they enjoy music, food, the pristine beach – and a view of the rocket. CGTN's Huang Fei takes you there to experience space hype on the ground.
