Tonga to reopen borders on August 1

The government of Tonga announced on Friday that the island nation will reopen its borders on August 1 and gradually increase the number of weekly flights.
Visitors will be required to show proof of at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a negative test result prior to embarkation.
