Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Sunday said Moscow is not asking for a lift of sanctions, but the West must remove obstacles created by itself to resolve the issues of global food supplies, Sputnik news agency reported.
Lavrov spoke at a joint press with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Cairo.
Earlier in the day, Lavrov met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during his visit to Egypt.
