Since the "double reduction" policy was launched, offline, off-campus academic training institutions have decreased by 90 percent. The policy, which was launched on July 24, 2021, aims to limit schoolwork outside of the classroom in China. A survey of 750,000 teachers, students and parents says that 79 percent of students do not receive any off-campus academic training. Since the double reduction policy, 91.7 percent of teachers are providing after-school services. And data shows more than 90 percent of students are willing to take advantage of them.
