Russia struck southwestern Ukraine's Odesa with missiles launched from strategic aircraft, a spokesperson of the Odesa Military Administration said Tuesday on social media.

Russian troops also launched a massive attack on the southern city of Mykolaiv, and the missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility and a trucking company, the mayor of the city said on Telegram.

Meanwhile, Russia claimed a major fire broke out at an oil depot in the Budyonnovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic in eastern Ukraine after Ukrainian troops shelled the province, Russia's TASS reported on Tuesday, quoting a reporter at the scene.
